The Constitution
of the United States of America

The foundation of our American Government, its purpose and form and structure are found in the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution, written in 1787, is the "supreme law of the land" because no law may be passed that contradicts its principles. No person or government is exempt from following it.

The Constitution establishes a federal guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government. No where in the Constitution was the word Democracy or democratic used. We have an indivisible union of 50 sovereign states. It is not a democracy as some would like to call it or change it into! It is representative due to democratic process; in which people choose elected officials by free and secret ballot. There is a vast difference between the words Democracy and Democratic Process! It is a Republic because the government derives its power and only those powers enumerated by and from the authority of the People.

The purpose of our Federal Government, as found in the Preamble of the Constitution, is to:
"establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity."
In order to achieve this purpose the Founding Fathers established three main principles on which our Government is based:
Inherent, Inalienable and Unalienable Rights: Rights that all Citizens living in America have. They must be Natural Born Citizens or Naturalized Citizens via the Lawful Immigration Process. Illegal Aliens are not Citizens, nor do they have any American Citizenship Rights enumerated in the Constitution of the United States of America. In fact illegal aliens are committing a Federal Felony against the United States of America and We the People of the several states of the union.
 
Self Government: government of, by and for the People conducted through an elective democratic process of representation. a Democratic Process, Not a Democracy! We are a Founded Republic.
 
Separation of Powers: Three Branches of government with different powers. None of the branches can exersize the powers of any other branch, thus setting up a system of Checks & Balances to guard against corruption in government.
